NEW DELHI: Around 800 delegates, including India’s Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers D.V. Sadananda Gowda, will take part in the 4th two-day international conference and exhibition on pharmaceuticals industry and medical devices in February 2019, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has said.
Drug regulators from various countries, senior government officials and industry members will attend the two-day conference beginning February 14, 2019, in Bengaluru, FICCI has said.
The conference will coincide with a CEO Roundtable, Pharma & Medical Devices Awards, International Drug Regulatory meet, Workshop by World Health Organization and Pharma and Medical Devices conference sessions.
“India Pharma and India Medical Device 2019 will bring key stakeholders of the pharma and medical devices sectors under one roof. Drug regulators from the US, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Uzbekistan, Argentina, Brazil, Ghana, Nigeria, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will take part in the International Drug Regulators meet,” the statement said.
The biggest names in the Indian pharmaceutical and medical devices industry come together on a common B2G platform at this event to deliberate with all relevant stakeholders from the Government, Drug regulatory agencies, Drug Pricing Regulators and World Health Organization on key policy changes required for the growth of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Industry, FICCI has said.
The conference sessions focus on key issues in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry and culminate in submission of recommendations to the government.
