NEW DELHI:
An array of anaesthesiologists and trainers will participate in a workshop on ‘Difficult Airway’ to be organised by the St Stephen’s Hospital, Delhi, on January 18, 2020, as per a statement of the hospital.

The purpose of the workshop is to focus on a variety of topics with the intent of educating both anaesthesia providers and obstetrics practitioners on best anesthetic practices for the management of peripartum patients, it said.

Titled ‘StephWork 2020’ the workshop hopes to establish a platform for anaesthesiologists to learn from their seniors and peers who have hands-on knowledge of this critical field of healthcare.

Director, St. Stephen's Hospital, Delhi, Dr. Sudhir C. Joseph, said, "A panel of eminent anaesthesiologists will be sharing their knowledge on handling a difficult airway, with hands-on sessions.”

The event is expected to be attended by about 150 anaesthesiologists, including students of anaesthesiology from Delhi and around, added Dr. Sudhir C. Joseph.
