Delhi: People who visited Agarsen Hospital ordered to self-quarantine

West Delhi Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dharmendra Kumar has ordered that all those who visited or were present at the Maharaja Agrasen Hospital in Punjabi Bagh between March 13 and April 7 must stay in home quarantine for 15 days.

They have been asked to immediately contact the control room DDMA, Raja Garden (011-25100093) and Dr Pankaj Prasad, CMO office, West Delhi, Raja Garden (9891003375) in case they display any virus-related symptoms such as fever, cough and respiratory distress.

A 52-year-old man, who was admitted to the Hospital for a neurological condition, died last week and tests have confirmed that he was Covid-19 positive. The hospital authorities said that two doctors and two nurses, among eight staffers, have also tested positive.

The hospital has at least 130 staff, including doctors and nurses, who have been put under quarantine. The hospital and nearby area has been sealed and sanitised .
