The Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA)-India has included resident doctors from other states to consolidate its union at national level, said Dr Manish, President, FORDA on July 30, 2021.
Earlier the association was more specific or limited to Delhi where resident doctors from all hospitals united on the issue of violence against healthcare workers and recommendation of implementation of seventh pay commission.
Dr Manish, President, Forda, told DTMT: “The objective behind their inclusion is for better communication among all the doctors from all states. This will help to raise doctors’ issues on a national level.”
Forda is an association of resident doctors which was formed in 2014 to raise issues related to junior and resident doctors.
