DTMT Network

With an aim to reach out to the poor for COVID-19 vaccination in the national capital, the Delhi government has started a “vaccination on wheel” drive to vaccinate laborers against coronavirus.

The motive of the drive is to vaccinate laborers who cannot operate smartphones and register themselves for the vaccination.

Under the drive, a bus has been converted to a vaccination center, which will reach different localities where onsite registration of laborers will be done and then they will be given vaccine shots inside the bus.

The unique initiative commenced in New Delhi where a team of healthcare workers from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and district administration administered COVID-19 vaccines in different localities.

Rajendra Nagar MLA, Raghav Chadha helped the administration and the team of RML hospital to reach out to labourers in the different localities.

People who took the first dose of the vaccine today thanked Chadha and urged that the bus should also come to give a shot of the second dose.
