Delhi government says its COVID vaccine stock will last for 8 more days

The vaccination stock of the COVID-19 will last for another eight days in the national capital, as per the vaccination bulletin issued by the Delhi government.

As of the morning of September 6, 2021, 1, 61,450 doses of Covaxin and 12, 46,420 doses of Covishield were left in stock.

The government informed that 5, 43,550 doses of Covishield were added to the stock on September 5, 2021.

In all, the Delhi government has received 1, 39, 41,230 vaccine doses till September 6, 2021, of which, 31, 20,660 shots were of Covaxin and the remaining Covishield.

The national capital has administered 1,41,04,324 doses of vaccine, including those given at private facilities, of which, 1,00,43,341 were the first doses and 40,60,983 second doses.

On September 5, 2021, 8,353 vaccine shots were administered. Out of these, 2,291 were first doses and 6,062 were second ones, the bulletin informed.

Delhi’s current inoculation capacity is 2, 23,141 doses per day, it further informed.
