COVID-19: Delhi reports 33 new cases, 56 recoveries, and one death

After the national capital witnessed 56 recoveries from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the active caseload of Delhi has declined to 407, the health bulletin said on September 17, 2021.

According to the official data, Delhi also reported 33 fresh infections of COVID-19 and one related death in the last 24 hours.

With the newly recorded COVID cases, Delhi’s infection tally has reached 14, 38,428 while the cumulative positivity rate currently stands at 5.36 %.

The national capital’s overall recoveries have climbed to 14, 12, 936, while fatalities have mounted to 25, 085. After this, the death rate stands at 1.74%.

A total of 52,181 tests were conducted, in the last 24-hours. However, cumulatively 2, 68, 21, 280 tests have been conducted in Delhi so far.

As many as 1, 56, 10, 042 cumulative vaccines have been administered so far, out of which 1, 36, 083 were administered in the last 24 hours.

On April 20, the national capital reported the biggest spike in new COVID cases since the pandemic began last year that witnessed 28,395 cases, while on April 26, the city registered the highest ever positivity rate of 36.24%.
