At 393, AQI in Delhi remains in the very poor category

The pollution situation in Delhi remains at dangerous levels with 29 of the 30 monitoring stations reporting Air Quality Index (AQI) ranging between 283 at Lodhi Road and 443 at Jahangir Puri at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The average AQI stood at 393, which falls in the very poor category.
The main pollutant was 2.5 particulate matter (PM2.5), data from National Pollution Control Board suggested.
