Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that restrictions may be eased if hospital admissions do not rise further and the positivity rate remains at 25%.

Speaking to the media on January 12, 2022, Jain said, “COVID cases in Delhi continue to be above 20,000 but the positivity rate is stagnant at around 25%, which is a good sign. Delhi recorded 21259 COVID cases and 23 deaths on January 11, 2022.

The positivity rate was recorded at 25.65%.
