Restrictions likely to be eased if COVID admissions don't rise further: Jain

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that restrictions may be eased if hospital admissions do not rise further and the positivity rate remains at 25%.
Speaking to the media on January 12, 2022, Jain said, “COVID cases in Delhi continue to be above 20,000 but the positivity rate is stagnant at around 25%, which is a good sign. Hospital admission has not risen in the last four to five days, if it continues; there will be some relief in restrictions.”
Delhi recorded 21259 COVID cases and 23 deaths on January 11, 2022.
The positivity rate was recorded at 25.65%.
