Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has said that the positivity rate is not low enough to ease COVID restrictions .
Speaking to the media on January 19, 2022, Jain said that there is not much occupancy in hospitals and beds are also vacant.
Jain claimed that more tests to detect COVID are being carried out in the national capital. Today around 24% positivity rate will come with around 13000 COVID cases, he informed.
“The positivity rate has come down from 30% to 22.5% and the total number of cases in Delhi has also decreased. However, the positivity rate is not low enough that we can ease COVID restrictions,” Jain added.
