Patients who visit South Delhi Corporation hospitals, dispensaries, maternity homes or child welfare centers will no longer need to queue up for an appointment.

Delhi's South Corporation will soon start online appointment service for its colony hospitals and dispensaries for facilitating patients, just like AIIMS-Delhi. When this is operational, patients can take appointments from their residence, saving much time and bother.

Online appointments are already in place in Safdarjung Hospital, NDMC Charak Palika Hospital, AIIMS-Delhi and Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital in Delhi.

SDMC has three colony hospitals, eight maternity homes,10 Polyclinics, 27 Primary Health Centers, 11 dispensaries, 25 maternity and child welfare centers, a tuberculosis hospital and a chest clinic.

Thousands of people come everyday to these medical facilities. But, in many places, there is great rush for an appointment slip forcing people to stand in queue for long.
