NEW DELHI: The Delhi government has claimed it will meet its target to make all medical equipment in its 24 hospitals functional by August 31, 2018.

At a meeting chaired by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, officials claimed that more than 94% of the medical equipment required were fully functional in the Delhi Government hospitals.

The chief minister reviewed the status of medical equipment and their functioning status in the 24-Delhi Government hospitals.

He discussed the equipment details with individual hospital officials and took time-lines from them.

The Chief Minister has now asked all the hospitals to make the equipment 100% functional by August 31, 2018, barring some exceptions which can't be done by the date due to logistical and other issues. He also lauded those hospitals that have already reached the 100% mark.
