Delhi-AIIMS docs seek director's nod to serve in Kerala

Delhi-AIIMS resident doctors have sought permission from the director Dr Randeep Guleria for treating flood victims in Kerala. The doctors have urged the director to form an AIIMS Flood and Disaster Relief Task Force for Kerala flood victims.

“We, resident doctors of AIIMS, want to stand with Kerala during this crucial time and are waiting to work as a team to provide medical assistance to people of Kerala,” said Dr Harjit Singh Bhatti, President, RDA-AIIMS.

An RDA letter to director AIIMS states, “We request you to constitute AIIMS Flood and Disaster Relief Task Force to extend health care facilities to flood and disaster affected areas of Kerala."

A resident doctor of Delhi-AIIMS, said, “Residents are eagerly waiting to serve in flood affected areas.”
