Another reshuffle at the top in Delhi Govt. hospitals

NEW DELHI: In another reshuffle of Delhi's Health department, medical superintendents of two Delhi government hospitals were changed late on October 12, 2018, as transfers and promotions to medical superintendent rank were put into effect.

Dr Sumant Sinha, consultant at Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital in Hari Nagar will join the Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital in Jama Masjid as the medical superintendent.

Dr Rakesh Kumar, the CMO (SAG) at the same hospital in Hari Nagar, will be the new medical superintendent of the Attar Sain Jain Eye & General Hospital, Lawrence Road, Keshav Puram.

Meanwhile, within two weeks, the Health Department has ordered cancellation of the transfer of two doctors, orders for which were issued on September 28, 2018.

“The order dated 28-09-2018 of even number in respect of Dr A K Jamrani, CMO (SAG) & Dr S C Chandra, CMO (SAG) may be treated as cancelled, with retrospective effect,” says the fresh order.

“Further, Dr Suman Kumari, MS, Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital and Dr G P Kaushal, the MS Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital are transferred to Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital and Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital respectively as CMO for all purposes with immediate effect,” it said.
