Delhi Govt. invites applications for awarding doctors, health staff

NEW DELHI : The Government of Delhi has invited applications from regular service doctors, nurses and para-medical staff working under the Delhi Government, MCD and NDMC for giving State Awards.
“All recommended application should be accompanied with supportive documents, ACR grading for last five years, vigilance clearance and one page citation,” says a letter to hospitals' heads, written by Dr Ashok Kumar, Director General Health Services, Delhi.
“The complete applications duly recommended by HOD should reach to this directorate well before March 20, 2019,” it said.
Under the scheme, 20 service doctors from Allopathy, Homeopathy and Indian System of Medicine and 31 Paramedical & Nursing staff who are working for the last 15 years or more with excellent services to the people of Delhi will be conferred with the State award.
The purpose of the award is to motivate the medical and paramedical staff for better quality service to the population of Delhi. Each awardee is given a memento, citation certificate and cash award.
The Chief Minister of Delhi Mr Arvind Kejriwal will confer these awards to the selected candidates. At present, each doctor is given a cash award of Rs.100000/- and each Nurse/Paramedical staff is given Rs.50000/-.
