NEW DELHI:
Amit Mann, an ECG Technician at the Hindu Rao Hospital in Delhi, who sought a change in his transfer orders to the Maharishi Valmiki Infectious Diseases Hospital (MVID) due to his upcoming engagement and marriage, has been warned by the hospital authorities of consequences if he fails to comply with directions.

The HoD Cardiology Department has said that he had discussed the case with the Medical Superintendent of the hospital. The HoD told Mr Mann to comply with orders and join duty in MVID Hospital immediately.

Mr Mann, along with other staffers of the Hindu Rao Hospital including Dr Anil Kumar Banka, CMO-medicine, Dr Mansi Tuteja, GDMO-Pediatrics, and four interns were posted through an office order to MVID Hospital on July 1. Mr Mann has also applied for leave.

The order cited the reason of the posting as smooth functioning of MVID hospital due to increasing number of diphtheria cases.
