A doctor and an infant have been killed and four others injured in a road accident in Delhi. They were travelling in an ambulance which rammed into a truck at DND toll plaza in Delhi.

The injured have been admitted to Delhi-AIIMS for treatment. The deceased doctor, infant and the injured are yet to be identified.

The police told the media that the ambulance was taking the doctor and others from a Noida-based private hospital to Safdarjung hospital in Delhi. The police said that the truck driver managed to flee. An investigation is underway.
