Booster dose for 18+ from April 10 at private centers: Health Ministry

The Union Health Ministry has announced that precaution doses of COVID19 vaccines will now be available to eighteen plus population groups from April 10 at private centers.

 

The ministry said that those who are eighteen years of age and have completed nine months after the second dose, would be eligible for precautionary doses at private vaccination centers.

The ministry emphasised that the ongoing free vaccination programme through government vaccination centers for first and second dose to the eligible population as well as precaution dose to health workers, frontline workers and sixty plus population would continue and would be accelerated.
