The total numbers of cases of coronavirus has crossed the one lakh mark across the globe. This has been informed by John Hopkins University. On its website, as on March 7, 2020, the university has also reported 3,491 deaths due to the virus worldwide while 57,389 people affected with the virus have recovered.

According to the university data, over three thousand people have died due to the virus in China alone. After China, the worst affected country is Italy with 197 deaths, followed by Iran with 124 deaths. China has reported 80,651 cases of coronavirus followed by South Korea. South Korea has reported 6767 cases.
