33 docs treating corona patients die in Italy

Thirty three doctors treating patients of coronavirus in different hospitals have died from the virus in Italy.
The information has been shared by Dr Ravi Wankhedkar, Treasurer, World Medical Association. The list of deceased doctors has also been shared by Dr Wankhedkar.
Dr Wankhedkar told DTMT, "If healthcare workers fall ill, it will aggravate shortages of human resource in dealing with this crisis. Even on mere suspicion of C infection they will be quarantined for 14 days. Also, infected but asymptomatic workers will transmit the infection to other patients," he added.
"Health care workers are 2-4 times more susceptible to get COVID. Death scenario is worst," he said.
