Pakistan recorded 83 deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, Pakistan’s National Command and Operation Centre data-informed on September 8, 2021.

The country also reported 3,902 new infections of COVID-19 after it conducted 60,537 tests of coronavirus across the nation in the last 24 hours, according to the NCOC data.

As per the official figures, the positivity rate increased to 6.44 per cent, as compared to yesterday’s which reported a 6.33 per cent of positivity rate.

A total of 12, 35,645 COVID-19 vaccinations were administered in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, after this the overall number of vaccination currently stands at 6, 45, 54,859, the NCOC data said.
