Kerala reports second case of Monkeypox

Kerala has reported a second case of Monkeypox.
While speaking about the case, the state health minister Veena George said that a 31-year-old man from Kannur is currently being treated at Pariyaram Medical College.
“The patient’s health condition is reported to be satisfactory. Those in close contact with him have been put under surveillance,” she added.
It may be noted that the first case of Monkeypox was reported in Kerala previous week.
