COVID-19: Delhi reports 1 death, 50 new cases, & 30 recoveries

After the national capital witnessed 30 recoveries from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the active caseload of Delhi has declined to 386, the health bulletin said on September 7, 2021.
According to the official data, Delhi also reported 50 fresh infections of COVID-19 and one related death in the last 24 hours.
With the newly recorded COVID cases, Delhi’s infection tally has reached 14, 38,041 while the positivity rate currently stands at 0.07%.
The national capital’s overall recoveries have climbed to 14, 12, 572, while fatalities currently stand at 25, 083. After this, the death rate stands at 1.74%.
A total of 46,099 tests were conducted, in the last 24-hours. However, cumulatively 2, 61, 22, 321 tests have been conducted in Delhi so far.
As many as 1, 42, 51,101 cumulative vaccines have been administered so far, out of which 1, 62,767 were administered in the last 24 hours.
On April 20, the national capital reported the biggest spike in new COVID cases since the pandemic began last year that witnessed 28,395 cases, while on April 26, the city registered the highest ever positivity rate of 36.24%.
