Bengaluru: NIMHANS director gets Padma Shri

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences Director Dr Nanjundaiah Gangadhar has been conferred with Padma Shri award.
The award was presented by President Ram Nath Kovind in presence of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
Dr Gangadhar has over thirty years of extensive experience in the fields of mental health, Yoga and integrative medicine.
Padma Shri is the fourth-highest civilian award of the Republic of India, after the Bharat Ratna, the Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan.
