Delhi-AIIMS to felicitate organ donors

To spread awareness about organ donation and how it can give life to others, Delhi-AIIMS will felicitate organ donors and families of cadaver donors on November 13, 2019, in a mega event. The event will be organized by Organ Retrieval Banking Organization (ORBO), Delhi-AIIMS.
“This will pay tribute to our organ donors for their selfless sacrifice towards serving humanity and honour the families who created the legacy of organ donation by consenting for organ and tissue donation of their relative after the demise,” said AIIMS in a statement.
The event will be attended by India’s Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju, Rajya Sabha MP and Indian Olympic Boxer MC Mary Kom and Playback Singer and Song writer Mohit Chouhan.
