The National Association of Reproductive and Child Health of India (NARCHI) is organizing a two-day conference to discuss reproductive and maternal child health issues at Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on November 23-24, 2019.

NARCHI has 30 branches all over India. It has professionals, primarily faculty and post graduates of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Pediatrics. The NARCHI-Delhi branch is currently held by Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital for the session 2018-2020.

“Our motto for promotion of reproductive and child health is “Reaching the Unreached”. We organize health camps, public forums and CMEs across Delhi and NCR, specially catering to those who are not usually part of the mainstream institutional programs. We have also taken initiative to organize awareness programme for public health,” said NARCHI in a statement.

“The scientific program at the conference will be based on the theme, “Post-partum period -- the crucial six weeks”. This is a most important time in the life of the mother when she faces various physical and psychological problems but is often left ignored as being part of pregnancy,” said NARCHI.

The conference includes workshops, CMEs, lectures, orations and panel discussions which will provide a platform to doctors to exchange ideas and upgrade knowledge.
