NEW DELHI: The Centre has announced senior level appointments in top central government hospitals.
Dr. Neeraj N Mathur, Principal at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi, has been appointed the new Director of the Lady Hardinge Medical College. He replaces Dr Rajiv Garg, who has retired.
Dr. Raj Kapoor, Director-Professor and HOD Department of Physiology at Safdarjung Hospital has been promoted as Principal of the Vardhman Mahavir Medical College.
As an ENT specialist, Dr Mathur has worked in various hospitals including Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Nepal, Lady Hardinge Medical College, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry, Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, University College and LNJP Hospital, Delhi.
Dr Mathur studied in Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Delhi and graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi.
