The administration of the Uttar Pradesh Government has arrested a 65-year-old Nepalese corona positive who had escaped from the community health centre, Khekra, in Baghpat, western Uttar Pradesh.

The Baghpat Police Superintendent had earlier warned the public: “Safidi Miyan s/o Musan Mian, is corona positive and was getting treatment in CHC Khekda. He ran away through the window on Monday night. To avoid the disease do not come in contact of Safidi Miyan.”

The police had given phone numbers for public to provide clues of the absconding corona patient.

The JamaatI came to Baghpat on March 19 from Nizamuddin Markaz of Delhi with 28 other Jamati from Nepal.

They were quarantined at Sri Krishna College, Balaini. The patient was kept in the covid hospital Khekra.

He was finally nabbed.
