Making light of people who are inquiring about availability of Covid beds in government and private hospitals in Delhi through the newly launched mobile app ‘Delhi Corona’, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has said that since launch of Delhi corona app various people are inquiring for beds but actual users are less. "This is a sort of window shopping,” he added while speaking to the media in Delhi.

“Three more hospitals have been converted to Covid. There will be no lack of beds,” he told the media. Recently, Delhi government declared Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Moolchand Hospital and Saroj Super Specialty Hospital as dedicated Covid hospitals.

It may be noted that lack of availability of corona beds in government and private hospitals has been a matter of concern as many people have returned without treatment due to lack of availability of beds. However, Delhi government said that people did not get beds due to lack of information about actual availability of beds in hospitals.

Recently, Delhi government launched the Delhi Corona mobile app to inform about actual availability of beds in government and private hospitals.
