Delhi’s Covid recovery rate has touched 72%, which is far higher than India's recovery rate of 60.77%.

Addressing the media through a video on July 6, 2020, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal informed that 72000 out of the 100000 corona patients have recovered from the disease in Delhi, which is good news.

Kejriwal further said that the Covid situation in the national capital has improved further as the positivity rate of the disease has reduced to 11% from 35%. "In June 2020, if we tested 100 people for the virus, 35 out of 100 used to test positive. Now, this 35 has come down to 11,which shows improvement," he pointed out.

He added, “We are testing 20000-24000 people for the virus on daily basis. ”

As per government data, 23170 people were tested for the virus on July 5, 2020, and total positive cases of the virus were 2244.

The Delhi CM has once again appealed that people who have recovered from Covid should come forward to donate plasma and save lives of those who need it.
