As per Delhi State Health Bulletin released in the evening on August 1, 2020, cases of corona virus increased by 1118 in the past 24 hours in the national capital. With this increase, the total number of cases in Delhi now stands at 136716 including 122131 recoveries and 10596 active cases.

As per the bulletin, 26 people died of the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths to 3989 so far in the city.

5140 RTPCR and 13014 rapid tests were conducted in 24 hours. 2979 patients with the virus are being treated in hospitals while 673 and 166 are being cared for in dedicated Covid care centers and dedicated Covid health centers respectively.

5660 patients are under home isolation in Delhi.
