According to Delhi State Health Bulletin released in the evening on August 8, 2020, Delhi has reported 1404 corona cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of virus cases to 144127 so far in the city.

According to the data, in the past 24 hours, 19092 Rapid antigen and 5500 RTPCR tests were conducted. The city recorded 16 deaths in past 24 hours. The total number of deaths now stands at 4098. At present, there 10667 active cases of the virus in the national capital.

5372 patients are under home isolation while 3058 are under treatment in hospitals. 659 patients are being treated in a dedicated Covid care center and 174 in a dedicated Covid health center. The total number of containment zones in Delhi stands at 478.
