According to the Indian Health Ministry data released in the morning on August 14, 2020, cases of coronavirus spiked by 64553 in the past 24 hours. As per the data, the virus killed 1007 patients across India in the past 24 hours.

The total number of cases of the virus now stands at 2461191 including 661595 active cases, 1751556 recoveries and 48040 deaths.
