Some patients, who have tested Covid positive, discover that they also suffer from hypertension or diabetes while they are under institutional quarantine in Delhi.

A 45-year-old man from Punjab came to know about his uncontrolled hypertension when he underwent regular check up at the Covid Care Centre near Akshardham in Delhi.

He was advised by the doctor that he should control his BP otherwise he may have a  paralysis attack soon.

This made the patient worried and he appeared to be in panic as others who had BP with Covid struggled to control their BP.

He, however, was counselled by doctor that he can recover easily as many patients with the disease have recovered and returned to their home safely. But he needed to control the BP so that he may have a healthy life in future.

Similarly, there were some patients who had diabetes but they did not know that they had this disease.
