3rd serosurvey shows 25.1% have Covid antibodies in Delhi

The third serological survey conducted by the Delhi government in the national capital in early September has revealed that 25.1 per cent people had Covid antibodies by the middle of August 2020. This shows a reduction in the number of people having antibodies as compared to the 2nd serological survey done in early August 2020. The August survey had disclosed that 28.7 per cent people in Delhi had Covid antibodies.

Around 23% population of Delhi was found to have antibodies against Covid in the first serological survey.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said, “According to the serosurvey report submitted on September 3, 2020, 25.1 per cent of the participants have developed antibodies to Covid in Delhi. In the last survey, it was 28.7 per cent. Next surosurvey will start within 15 days.”
