Support for doctors of Delhi's Hindu Rao Hospital (HRH), who have been on strike for 22 days in protest against unpaid salaries for the last four months, is growing day by day.

Doctors from all major hospitals run by the Central and Delhi governments will observe a two hour pen-down strike on October 27, 2020 in solidarity with doctors of HRH.

The hospitals where strike will be observed include Ram Manohar Lohiya, Safdarjung, Babu Jagjivan Ram, Guru Tegh Bahadur, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Maharishi Valmiki and Bhagwan Mahaveer.

The doctors of North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC)-run hospital will take out a candle march today evening.

It may be noted that around 400 resident doctors of HRH have not been paid salary for the last 4 months while five resident doctors still continue their hunger strike since October 23, 2020, outside the hospital.

The senior doctors of NDMC will strike work from October 27, 2020, against their unpaid salary for the last 3 months.
