As per the Indian Health Ministry data in the morning on January 21, 2021, only 13823 corona cases were reported across the country in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of corona cases to 10595660 so far across the country.

As per the data, the virus killed 162 people in the past 24 hours, taking the number of virus fatalities so far to 15718.

As per the data, 16988 people recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total number recoveries to 10245741.

The number of active cases have come down to 197201.

As per data of Indian Council Of Medical Research, 7,64,120 samples were drawn in the past 24 hours to detect the disease.
