India recorded yet another highest ever daily fresh corona cases tally of 126789 in the past 24 hours, as per the Indian Health Ministry data on April 8, 2021.

As per the data, 685 people died of the disease in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of virus fatalities thus far to 166826.

As per the data, there are now 910319 active cases of the virus in the country. The total number of virus cases till now is 12928574, out of which 11851393 have recovered.
