A vaccination officer at the Delhi government-run Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital in Delhi has tested corona-positive. It is not known whether the officer had taken the vaccine or not as he was not an employee of the hospital, informs the hospital. This hospital has been a Covid dedicated health facility for about a year.

A doctor at the hospital said that it has been seen that unlike earlier when one or two persons were infected in the family, this time the entire family is getting the infection.

She said around 200 Covid beds are now occupied in the hospital, adding that infectivity has been found higher but the mortality is lower in the current wave.
