India recorded 16,159 COVID19 cases and 28 deaths in the past 24 hours.

According to the Union Health Ministry update issued on July 6, 2022, a total of 15,394 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 4,29,07,327.

The active cases stood at 1,15,212, the ministry informed.
