The premises of Delhi-AIIMS were full of joy as hundreds of medical students threw their graduation hats in the air and congratulated each other after getting their degrees on the 46th Annual Convocation Day on December 7, 2018.

One of them was Dr Gopal Puri who topped the MBBS in AIIMS-Delhi with 78% marks. Speaking to DTMT on his achievement, Dr Puri said that he has topped the MBBS in Delhi-AIIMS just because of the dedication he put into his studies during the entire period of the course. “I used to study from twelve to sixteen hours per day. Only after studying, I used to sleep,” said Dr Puri with a smile on his face.

Dr Puri has advised his young friends who wish to serve mankind through medical profession that they should first set a vision and then chase it with full dedication. He said he has no wish to leave India but to serve his motherland by providing treatment.
