Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SHRH), New Delhi, one of India's leading healthcare providers, has launched a “Kidney Care at Home” service, to detect renal disease in the early stage.

“Since chronic kidney disease runs in families, especially in patients with diabetes, hypertension and various other diseases, we will have a package under which patients' families will be screened so that kidney disease can be detected in an early stage. Many lives can be saved by doing the screening of families,” Dr. (Prof.) D.S. Rana, Chairman (Board of Management), Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

Highly sensitized recipients with antibodies, patients of myasthenia gravis, LGB syndrome and vasculities can get this service at an affordable rate.

Patients from various parts of country are referred for plasma apharesis to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital which has the largest centre for doing ABO incompatible Kidney Transplant in India. With dedicated apharesis unit, the procedure can be done in a clean and hygienic environment in the hospital.
