Delhi's Ganga Ram Hospital launches 'Kidney Care at Home'

NEW DELHI: Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SHRH), New Delhi, one of India's leading healthcare providers, has launched a “Kidney Care at Home” service, to detect renal disease in the early stage.
SGRH provides latest and most comprehensive kidney care facilities including ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, continuous holter monitoring, care of catheter, dressing, wound care, home sampling and home hemodialysis services.
“Since chronic kidney disease runs in families, especially in patients with diabetes, hypertension and various other diseases, we will have a package under which patients' families will be screened so that kidney disease can be detected in an early stage. The hospital also launched an Aphersis Unit which has dedicated apharesis machines and will cater to various patients of ABO incompatible Kidney Transplant. Highly sensitized recipients with antibodies, patients of myasthenia gravis, LGB syndrome and vasculities can get this service at an affordable rate.
Patients from various parts of country are referred for plasma apharesis to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital which has the largest centre for doing ABO incompatible Kidney Transplant in India. With dedicated apharesis unit, the procedure can be done in a clean and hygienic environment in the hospital.
