Senior and Junior doctors and also medical students of Delhi-AIIMS will shortly take out a candle march in support of junior doctors who were brutally assaulted by a mob of 200 people in NRS Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata.

The candle march is expected to start from 6:30 PM in Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium in the AIIMS-Delhi hospital premises. The doctors of Delhi-AIIMS have been constantly protesting in support of West Bengal doctors who have been on strike for the last six days.

It is to be seen whether the pressure being brought to bear by the medical fraternity nationwide will have an impact on the West Bengal government to do justice in the matter.
