End in sight for doctors' strike in W. Bengal?

 DTMT Network
With West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee agreeing to almost all the demands of the striking doctors of West Bengal, the doctors have expressed their satisfaction at the meeting and will now go back to the hospital where their colleagues were assaulted to chalk out the future course of action.

It is learnt that Mamata Banerjee has informed the doctors that five arrests have been made in the case of the assault on the junior doctors which caused this crisis.

When the doctors asked her to visit their injured colleagues, the Chief Minister said that she will decide the time when she will do that and she has always visited the injured in hospital.

With this, it seems that the crisis is heading towards being resolved. Yes, the doctors have shown their unity and their strength and politics has had to back down. It is now to be seen what final decision the doctors take.

The patients will certainly be now heaving a sigh of relief.
