A fire broke out on first and second floors of Delhi-AIIMS, on August 17, 2019. The fire broke out above the emergency of the hospital. The affected area has been evacuated by the security guards.

No casualty has been reported in the fire. 22 fire tenders have reached the hospital to extinguish the fire and are attempting to do so for over an hour. It is speculated that the fire took place due to a short circuit.
