The Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS), Delhi, is organizing a mega workshop on school students' oral health on October 11, 2019 for improving oral health of school going children.

The workshop will provide a training platform for school health scheme officials. The workshop will also have a panel discussion on Integrating School Oral Health in School Health Scheme.

The panel discussion includes lecture on School Health in India: Current Status and Future Prospects. The lecture will be delivered by Prof Jugal Kishore, Head, Department of Community Medicine, Safdarjung Hospital.

The second lecture will be on School Oral Health: An insight to feasibility and implementation in India. This lecture will be delivered by Dr Vijay Mathur, Professor, Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, CDER, Delhi-AIIMS.

The third lecture will be delivered by Dr Aswini WB on Tobacco Free School.

The workshop will have presence of Dr Nutan Mundeja, Director, Directorate of Family Welfare, Delhi government, Dr Sushma Jain, Additional Director, School Health Scheme, Delhi government, and Dr Sangeeta Talwar, Director-Principal, MAIDS.
