Dr Arun Gupta, President, Delhi Medical Council, has tweeted that a doctor associated with a Mohalla Clinic in Delhi has tested positive for coronavirus. 

"One doctor of Mohalla Clinic is down with Corona. My appeal to all health care workers. Don't see patients without proper precautions. Very important is not only to save yourself but also to prevent spread in the community," added Dr Gupta. 

According to a report, Dr Gopal Jha, Mohalla clinic doctor, was found positive with Coronavirus. 

Dr Gopal is said to have been infected from his patient Shama, who has travel history to Dubai and from Delhi’s Dilshad Garden locality.

Shama, 38, was attended by Dr Gopal and the patient was diagnosed positive with Covid-19.

Dr Gopal is currently in the isolation ward of Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital while his patient is under treatment at Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital.
