Social distancing missing at food distribution spots

Social distancing is the key for breaking the chain of coronavirus transmission, even as the virus has killed thousands and infected millions across the globe.
In India, despite lockdown in force across the country and in cities, people are still not following social distancing norms.
A long jostling queue with groups of people were seen standing outside a government school near Shashi Garden in Patparganj area of Delhi.
Kids were also standing in the queue.
Government schools have been turned into centers by the Delhi Government to provide free food twice a day to all needy people.
These schools are regularly urging people to follow social distancing, but people are not following it and are exposed to each other, which can transmit the infection.
Many people in queues do not wear masks or cover their mouths, not to speak of understanding the concept of social distancing, which has been emphasised as pivotal to contain the spread of the deadly virus.
Similarly, social distancing is also absent in other places where free food is being distributed.
