In a major rejig involving four senior doctors, the Delhi government has shuffled officials in its Health Department and replaced the head at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital (BSAH), Rohini.
Dr PS Khatana, consultant (surgery) at BSAH has been appointed as medical director at the same hospital in place of Dr MM Kohli.
Dr Nutan Mundeja, CMO (SAG) and director DFW/SPO (DSHM) has been moved out to an important position — Director General, DGHS. Dr Monika Rana, CMO (SAG) has been appointed as Director, DFW and SPO-IT (DSHM).
Dr SA Francis CMO (SAG), has been moved to the Lok Nayak Hospital as CMO (SAG).
The aforesaid officers shall not be entitled for any additional remuneration in respect of above said charge, said Surinder Narang, Deputy Secretary (HR-Medical) in an order issued on May 21.
Dr Kohli is relieved from the duties of medical director BSAH with immediate effect. However, he will continue to work as CMO (SAG) at the same hospital till further order.
