Delhi: RML loses its 6 corona warriors

Many staffers of the Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Delhi, have been infected with coronavirus, and six of them have succumbed to the infection so far.
The deceased include Dinesh Malhotra (head clerk), Chandeswar Sharma, Aninde Chakraborty (both (Medical lab technologists), Anil Kumar (MTS outsource), Nanku (sanitary worker outsource) and Rahul Negi (security guard).
Many employees are undergoing treatment and several including dean of the hospital, Dr Rajiv Sood, have recovered.
“Salute to the RML warriors who laid down their life for the call of duty to protect citizens of Delhi in the fight against this deadly Covid-19. RIP and salute from the entire workers union,” said Mukesh Sharma, spokesperson of the All India Health Employees and Workers’ Federation.
